The help files on the Minitor-V software isnt very helpful at all.

What value makes the squelch more sensitive to Receive weak signals? 1 or 5?

what does the on & off Duty options do?
What does the privacy option do?

1.

On/off duty allows you to have some tones that only alert in certain switch positions (when you're on duty) but not in others.

Privacy disables monitor functionality (can't hear the channel without first receiving good alert tones).
