Hey, can anybody tell me anything about this radio, does it have all the same features as the regular cdm1550? how many conventional channels will it do? Etc Thanks

I don't have a specific model # right now just thought I would ask before buying one, all I really need is about 16 or 20 channels I want the display too so I can add name tags to channels and I would like to have MDC encode/decode but that isn't really important.

go with an cdm1250. 64 channels, full MDC encode decode an aliasing, without any doubts.


1550 is nice if its loaded because you can change zones from the keypad and it supports 160 channels.
