Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to program my HT1250 so I get the data chirp and my ID to show up on other radios, after every transmision. I'm new at the programming thing and could use some help.
THanks

depends on which model you have. some versions of ht1250's dont support mdc signalling such as the ht1250 ls and ls+ radios though you might be lucky as i have and find one with a model number that ends with 7AN or 9AN which will offer you full MDC capabilities.
if you have a regular conventional ht1250 mdc signalling should be under the signalling menu on your cps.
you basically choose what number you want your ID to be and select whether you'd like pre or post ID, you will then have to go to each personality and select mdc under signalling for each of the personalities that you want it on
if you dont have mdc on your radio then its no big loss, MDC i've found after using it for a little bit, tends to be really annoying after the first day or two.

If you really get stuck you could email me the codeplug and I could make the changes and then email it back to you. You have to make sure that the ID you give your radio is programmed into everybody elses radio to display your name. If you don't program their radios then all they will see is the number you have given your radio.
