Kenwood TK-706 programming?

Post by radio_05 »

I have some Kenwood TK-706 radios, VHF conventional 2-ch, It seems these weren't very popular, and there isn't much programming info available. There is a switch on the solder side of the logic board inside the radio. Pressing this at power-on seems to put it into a programming mode.

I haven't had any success with KPG-6D software for the TK-706D series radios. Any ideas?
