Post by ArmsonOeg »

Anyone have a comment on Kenwood VHF HT antenna's? These would be the same type and thread pitch as a GP300 and i believe the colored dot at base on the outside of skirt.

Also where could i get some and a est. price would be nice

Thanks

They don't hold up so well, replaced a bunch of the Kenwood antennas
with the NAE6483 whips.

Look at the end of both a /\/\ and woody HT antenna. Both are SMA type, but one has a recessed center an the other is flush with the bottom of the threads. Don't swap 'em. Also new style woody ants fail with regularity.
