Will this siren amp work with a regular spectra radio that is not an astro radio?

Yeah you're fine. If it was an 'A' model it would not. You can read some notes about it and check cable part nos. on Mike B's site here: http://www.open.org/~blenderm/spectra/p ... ml#spsys9k
