From the SRN:

-If unit has MUC, it will alternate between "Reading Battery Data" and "No Battery," or will remain on "Reading Battery Data"
-Revert to Rapid Charge - Charger cycles between steady green LED and steady red LED (when using Nickel battery)
-Pocket to Pocket: charge will not resume if battery elapsed time meter rolls over to the next day.
-Prevent charge in non-impres configuration: Non-impres configuration will resume battery state of charge if battery is removed from charger and placed back in within 30 minutes

Cause for above issues is related to v3.1 and older versions and was corrected with v3.3 and newer versions (current version is 3.4).

So most of the above is with the Impres charger with the LCD display, how about the single battery chargers w/out display. I just had my firmware updated from the flaky 3.0 to 3.4 and I have one of my XTS Impres batteries that after being charged the LED alternated between red and green. The owners book stated that the battery is reaching the end of it's service life however the battery lasts for up to 10 hours so I'm wondering if the battery is fried.
