Antanna connector info?
I need the antenna connector model number for a maxtrac radio. What I am looking to do is purchase a PL259 adapter to the maxtracant input. The websites I am looking on have crappy pictures to tell what one I need.

- What radios do you own?: Progreso soup can with CRT
mini-UHF
Last time I needed these I got them from the
RF Connection in Gaithersburg MD. As I recall
they cost about $3.00 each and the place takes
phone orders and credit cards.
Google will give you many, many hits for this device.

The screw on adapters are a bad idea, it's much better to make a pigtail with a Mini-UHF on one end and a SO-239, or even a PL-259 and barrel adapter, on the other end.
All the ones i have seen put too much stress on the mini if the coax isn't tied up to relieve the weight and pull on the adapter.
