Hi all,
Approximately five months ago I purchased two new Motorola Impres Saber batteries HNN9033b with a date code of 614AUMB from a Internet suppler. Both of these batteries were charged exclusively on a WPLM4111AR Impres Single unit charger unfortunately it was flashed with firmware version 3.0 which I recently had upgraded to V3.4 by someone on the board. Now to my problem. one of the Saber batteries will only last about 5 hours were it used to last up wards to 12 hrs. I'm not sure if the battery was corrupted by the old firmware version or what. How and were do I send this battery to get it exchanged? According to Motorola's website the Impres battery is warranted for 24 months.
Thanks
Dan..

Ya this battery is defiantly hosed. I placed it in the charger and three hours later the red charging LED is still illuminated and the battery is dead as a doornail. These batteries were purchased in March 11, 06

Any dealer would be able to send it to Motorola for a warranty exchange, based on the date code. The problem you might run into, not a lot of dealers would have those same Impres batteries on-hand to swap out for you on the spot...or even if they did, they aren't obligated to do so, and may not if you didn't originally buy the batteries from them. Regardless, you'll eventually get a new battery, it's just a question of how long you'll need to wait.
