Motorola CM 300 Repeater

Post by JD »

Has any one had success in using a CM300 and CDm1250 with a Motorola rick to build a cross band repeater ans how did you configure it ?

Set up I am trying, the CM is set up as the transmit radio, and it is keyed at all times.

Thanks.

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

just use the drop down box in the acc port setup and select rick tx and you should be good to go.

Repeater

Did that, does not work, followed instructions to the "t". Think it has to do with the voltages on the CM accessory pins, they are different from previous radios.

CM REPEATER

Post by JD »

I made up a simple repeater board as described on Batlabs, it is from the rick audio processor circuit, interfaced 2 CM 300's and it worked great.

Would not work when I used a rick either in the uni or bi directional configuration.

Any Ideas ?

TRY SWAPPING THEM AROUND AND USE THE CDM FOR TRANSMIT AND THE CM FOR RECIEVE. I HAD A CDM THAT WOULDN'T WORK ON RECIEVE.
