Spectra band-split question

Post by tensi0n »

I have a Spectra D44ZXA5JC7AK with a band-split of 403-433. Is there any way I can program the radio to tx/rx on the ham bands and possibly higher?

RANGE 1 SPECTRA IN THE HAM BANDS?

Post by N4KVE »

Unfortunately no. It took me 3 years to find a range 2 spectra to do that. 438-470 mhz. A range 3 450-482 mhz spectra can be hacked to do this, although RX sens won't be as good as the range 2 in the ham bands. Good luck. GARY N4KVE
