Jotto faceplate to use with CB?

Jotto faceplate to use with CB?

I'm looking to remove one of the two scanners in my Jotto short-stack and replace one with a Cobra 29 CB. This will leave me with a BC785D scanner, Yaesu FT-7800R dual band, and the Cobra.

I realize that the 425-6080 faceplate that I am going to be leaving vacant is not quite wide enough...

Two questions - The width is 7.096" - what would you use to open that up to 7.25" and would it be worth the work???

If you were to buy a brand new faceplate, which number would you order?
