Dejavu Motorola's (CDTI) Subscriber Operations

Motorola’s infinite Wiz-Dumb, Wiz meaning passing unwanted fluids during another emergency crisis and Dumb meaning their MBA Corporate Management continues to make STUPID decisions. Haven’t the Motorola customers been through enough of these Subscriber service problems by now?

Well, I guess not! Jerry Parsons (President) from CDTI (/\/\'s outsource service company) informed the officials at /\/\ that CDTI will not enter into the /\/\ Land Mobile Subscriber Products repair business. The reasons given were the financial margins are too small and the risk and responsibilities are too great. Hmmmm, I wonder if the Mexico facility had any thing to do with Parsons’ decision? It was /\/\’s decision to move the Subscriber Repair Depot down to sunny /\/\exico and unqualified workers.

Rumor #1 Floating around is that CDTI was thinking of subcontracting out the Subscriber repairs in /\/\exico. CDTI was so disgusted with the Subscriber repairs, they wanted out of that part of the business. I wonder if CDTI learned their lesson in /\/\exico.

Rumor # 2 Floating around, is that /\/\ was leaning towards seeking another outsource vendor to replace CDTI in the Subscriber end of the operations. /\/\ never learns their lessons.

Rumor # 3 Floating around is that /\/\ (CDTI) is thinking of bringing the Upper Tier Subscriber Mobiles and Portables back to the United States of America into the Elgin, Illinois facility. The only problem with this theory is, “Who’s going to perform the repairs?” If I remember correctly, there’s an acute shortage of experienced technical employees. Everyone that was employed in the former Elgin Subscriber Depot Operations were forced out the door into retirement or to go find a new employer after December 31, 2005!

I'd be happy to move to Elgin and do repairs for them, not sure they'd like my terms though.

Hey, you'll never know until you propose the idea. Nothing's too expensive for /\/\, just ask their customers.
