Minitor IV Programming

Post by KDN »

Trying to program a Minitor IV for a company and the chief wants it to alert on the pager tone with the standard minitor alert and on the siren tone alert agian but with the long tone. How is this done? I thought i had it right but it alerts 2 times with the standard instead of 1 standard and 1 long tone. Any help will be excepted... Thanks

I assume both tones are two-tone sets? If so, you can't make this happen with the M4.

A two-tone pair will alert with the standard beep-beep-beep tone.
A single long tone will alert with the long tone.

If you want configurable tones, you need an M5.

If the first tone is the same for both codes, select coding option R130. Code set 1 will be beep-beep-beep and code 2 will be long alert tone. I've done this on many so that fire alert and officer only alert sounds different.

And if the first tone is NOT the same:

This apparently works only with the DOS version of the software.
