GP68 Guys- can not align

Post by Will »

OK you GP68 experts... I have three GP68's from Hong Kong, (not mine) in here for alignment.

The radios from H K have low power out, low battery alarm, and poor modulation.. This is bad even on Ham where these radios are used.

The alignment s/w reads radios but says "Model Not Supported".

Any clues????

is it possible that the radio is one of those ap's with a gp sticker on it? or does the alignment program work with both models?

Are these Asian market radios on the 205 to 225 MHz band?

Perhaps you need the Asian RSS. I've seen mention of this concerning the 220 radios.
