Anyone know the specs on a TLE 1693A amplifier?

Whats the RF in max?(watts)

Whats the max output?(watts)

What does it take to power it?

Any idea what model/series equipment it came from, and what frequency range? My library is organized by make/model/band, not by Motorola TLE numbers.

Micor station/repeater PA. UHF 75 watts (after circulator/isolator..not part of the PA)

Ok, would it work if I were to put this on the duplexer out of my repeater? Which has a 40/25 watt M1225 as a transmitter, If I make the out 25w will this bring it up to 75w out of the PA?

Micors PA's generally like about 1.2 watts input.I somehow doubt your M1225 would be stable at that power

It will work but should have at least an isolator on it.

Definately out of the radio. But then can your duplexer handle the extra power.

In a nutshell it aint gonna fly, well not without some hard work anyway.

On the left hand side of the chassis bracket, there's a feedthru with a Yellow wire that requires approxinately +5.5~6.0V DC for the Keyed A+ Control Voltage on Transmit. This is generally supplied by the Micor's Internal Circulator / Power Control circuitry.

Oh Yeah, to correct all of the previous post, the TLE1693A UHF RF Amplifier is not rated at 75 Watts Output. This particular UHF RF Power Amplifier is rated at 25 Watts Output and was used as a Buffer Amplifier to Drive the TLE1933A High Power 250 Watt (Eimac Vacuum Tube) RF Power Amplifier.

I personally don't think it's worth your while to attempt putting the 3 transistor amplifier into your repeater. The RF Power Amplifier everyone else thought you had is a TLE1743A and this version is rated at 75 Watts Output.
