HT1250 Audio Questions

Hello...

I have two unrelated questions regarding receive audio on HT1250's (these questions are applicable to our inventory of 20-something HT1250's):

1) On the channels which have MDC Receive signalling, when another transmitting radio is keyed up, the MDC data burst is sent and is heard on my HT1250, but then the audio is completely lost for 1.5 to 2 seconds, then the end of the transmission is heard. This only occurs with some MDC values, but it occurs with those values all the time.

2) On channels with TPL values on the receive frequency, squelch tails are still heard at the end of transmissions. If the radio is on monitor, the squelch tails are not heard on any channel with a TPL...but if the radio is in scan, the squelch tail is heard almost all the time.

If you want to send me your codeplug I could take a look at some values and see if I can help you out. I have had this exact problem before with the professional series radios (HT1550's & HT1250's) and was able to fix it by modifying some settings.
