Repair Help...

Post by GradyMedic »

I looked through the forums, and didn't see a repair forum so I'll just post this up here.... If its in the wrong place, I'm sorry..

I need a shoulder mike end (radio end) replaced for a MTS2000 shoulder mike. (Remote antenna type) Does anyone here do any repair?? If so, how much and turn around time? Feel free to PM me..
Thanks

Sam

What radios do you own?: Centracom Gold Elite, XTS5K 4K

your best vet is getting a new one off ebay. There are usually a few NOS ones on there for 40-50. By the time you pay for shipping and the connector youre going to be around there, so you might was well get a new one.

Just my 2 cents

Yeah.. I've been buying them off of E-bay for around that and reselling them.. but I got some help here a bit cheaper, and its kind of sentimental.. For some reason us paramedics are like that.. After a piece of equipment has been with you for years and served you well, you just want to fix it and keep it :)

Thanks for the reply
