Universal programming interface cable pinout

Looking to find the pinout to replace the original Motorola pager interface DB25 cable (between pc and PIB) with one who fits DB9 back of computer...

Here's the pinout for a DB25 to DB9 adapter...it should have the info you need.

In other words, swap pins 2 and 3 when going from the DB25 to DB9, short 7 and 8 together on the DB9, short 6, 1, and 4 together on the DB9, and pin 7 on the DB25 becomes pin 5 on the DB9. All this per the UPI schematic on Batlabs.

Tks. I tried to figure it out with RS232 conversion table but i'm not pretty sure... I get the same result but I don't want to burn something out!
