How to tell M2 Amp'd Charger Band?

Post by Asst17-1 »

How do I determine what band a Minitor II amplified charger is for? I see they list them as being for UHF, VHF, ect.

Are they specific for each band or are they all the same?

Thanks

They should be all the same - there isn't anything band specific to them, short of the antenna hooked to the back plug.... (which is a "phono" style jack at least on the Minitor 2 amp'ed charger bases).

There is nothing in there short of an audio amp, and just a simple pass through to the antenna jack on the back.

Ok that is what I thought. I don't know why some places advertise them as being for VHF, UHF ect.

The reason they are advertised in this manner is to indicate which type of antenna should be included. The chargers themselves are all the same.
