Coloured XTS5000 16-pos knobs?

Coloured XTS5000 16-pos knobs?

What's up with the coloured bands around some XTS5000 16-position knobs?

I've seen a few yellow XTS5000R III's with red bands around their 16-pos knobs, as well as IS XTS5000 III's with green bands. Are these an orderable part or factory option, or some weird SP thing?
