Motorola Saber I, II, III into ASTRO Saber I, II, III Case?

Post by losangelescop »

Hey all,

Just wondering if the guts from a regular Saber I can be placed into an ASTRO Saber I case, Saber II to ASTRO Saber II, and III to ASTRO Saber III etc.

Thanks ppl! :)

Nope, the Astro is considerably longer and has different internal connections as well as other things such as the display size etc...

Two different animals they are.

Correctomundo. About the only parts that can be swapped between an analog Saber and an Astro Saber are the clear/secure knob, the PTT button insert, and the battery plate.
