HT750 conversion

Post by bellersley »

I know these radios aren't easily "hacked" but I'm hoping this is possible.

I have an HT750 403-470 16 channels that doesn't seem to work. It was given to me by a tech, it's got a shop label that says something about a B+ trace broken. He also gave me an HT750 403-470 4 channel that works fine.

I'm hoping there might be some way I can put the two together to end up with a working 16 channel one. I guess with these all being uni-board construction I should forget about that? Or is there hope?

Thanks!

HT750 is waris? In germany the names are different :-) Then check he SMD fuse on the board, and check on continuity from the battery contacts to this fuse...
