T35CPA5GD9BH "Smartnet" What's this ?

Post by Leadenwah »

Included in a recent purchase was an unusual looking Motorola mobile.
It's marked: T35CPA5GD9BH SMARTNET

It looks like a T mount Spectra, but slightly different configuration. It's not a Syntor. It has an SO239 connector, the key case lock, a DB-25 and a Maxtrac style 16 Pin plug all on the front of the radio. It is, of course, a remote mount, but, of course, no control head was included.

The cable is cut so the control head end is gone. I wondered if "D9" suggests a type of Systems 9000 type head ?

I'm certain that it's 800MHz, but beyond that...any thoughts welcome.

Duplex Maxtrac 800 MHz Smartnet 2000X, 25 Watt, carphone, D9 Package = 15 systems, 16 subfleets, 10 conventional.

You need handset FCN1607A & control cable SKN4276A to light it up.
