Saber R batteries?

Does anyone make an aftermarket R battery? I looked up Alexander and they show a part # but its not shown in the catalog. Am just going to have to bite it and pay $$ for OEM?

I believe Multiplier used to make one, but I don't see it now.

More than likely, it's time to bend over, lube up, and fork out the two Benjamins for a new pack from Moto. That, or buy a replacement case and recase the radio to be non-R.

The best price I have found is $115 on line. There is one on Ebay that has a buy it now of $65 but he is in Singapore. I have 7 sabers. I want this R for a firehouse radio.

I dropped a an Email to Alexander about avalibilty but havent heard back..

I can sell them for $100 apiece, if there's enough interest and I can order 10 or more of them the price will drop to $85 each

I would be in for one.....

The R II radio is a BEAST....I am sorry I sold my last one....I could not beleive I got 5 benjis for it...

But picke dup another at a decent enough rate....I can recase to NON R II BUT that baby in that R II case and batts is as astated a beast....
