Problem with a CDM 750

Post by 60A »

Hey all, came in to work this morning and there is something wrong with the CDM 750 in our patrol truck. It had 4 channels programed into it, and now for some reason it is stuck on the first channel. Anybody have an idea of what might be wrong, or is there an easy way to reset it? Thanks! :)

1. Did any one have to jump start the vehicle recently or do any arc welding in or near the vehicle?

2. Did you try and unplug the power cord and let it sit for awhile?

I have seen some radios do some strange things when #1 above occured.
Sometimes #2 above corrected the problem.

Good luck...

Thanks fineshot1 ! I didn't want to have to manually pull the power source from it, as it meant disassembling the console but I did, and now it's fine. I was just kind of hoping there was maybe some kind of manual reset button configuration or some such nonsense. Thanks again! Happy Holidays!
