"ICP VER XXXXXX" -ERROR (GP1200 -> MTS2100)

Post by junk.mail »

Hello!

Maybe you guys can help me. I tried to flash my GP1200 in a MTS2100.

I used Wookie to program a new codeplug -> error02

Then I used Skywalker-Upgrade utility to flash the radio, ending in a message that the upgrade was succesfull, but it was not :( .

The Radio is now showing "ICP VER XXXXXX" in it's display and has strange power-off (needs minutes to turn off).

I don't have an idea what went wrong. Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Stephan

Did you select the correct model to be flashed in Skywalker? If you flashed the wrong firmware(and/or a combination with the wrong codeplug), strange things will be the result...Also, Wookie is not the most stable programming platform.

Hi!

Thanks for your help.
I reprogrammed the (same) codeplug and the radio is alive now.
Maybe Wookie made a mistake at the first time...
Now the radio works fine...

Right,

Typical Wookie error. Reprogramm the same codeplug and it's working fine....
Try backing up this codeplug in MT(S)2100 RSS to be on the safe side!
