HT1250 impres question...

Post by Jonathan KC8RYW »

I'm looking at getting an HNN4003 Li-Ion impres for the HT1250.

I've had to use a belt clip to boost up the regular battery before so it'd hit the contacts in the impres charger. Is there an adapter I'm supposed to be using for HT1250 batteries? What's the P/N, if so?

Thanks!

No replies?

I guess it sounds like a SP item I'll have to make on my own, then, with a 5 gallon paint stir stick and a jig saw.

HT1250 Impress Battery

Post by WFD44 »

Johnathan,

There is a spacer for the HT1250 that comes with the original factory charger. Don't know part number or if that's the problem.

As for the Impress LiIon Battery. You will need the Impress Charger. I've had it for about 6 months. Works GREAT. Your existing HT 1250 batteries will charge in the Impress charger also.

So forget about the spacer issue and check with your local dealer. There is a special on the HT1250 Impress Batteries and charger through the end of the year. It must be ordered by Dec 31, 2006.

A great deal on a good system.

What kind of deal are they running or does it depend on the Dealer?

it requires a trade in of your existing charger. you get about $10 off for the charger and about $20 for the battery. you can buy 2 batteries for every charger traded in

I presume that it's a swap of a Jedi/XTS/Saber Impres charger for a Pro Series Impres charger (WPLN4182A)?

that is correct

you can also trade in rack chargers for a WPLN4187 or WPLN4192 for $100 or $150 off, respectively. you can also get up to 12 batteries for these

That's the PN I'm looking for.

Do they happen to have a part number on them?

Its either HLN9793 or HLN9794 $5 or so for the spacer.
Impres trade in program expires 12/31/06.
We have done Impres single charger and Li-Ion Impres for $105 with trade in of regular charger AAHTN3000 ( no need to trade in std battery btw)
WPLN4182 and a HNN4003.MSRP is $170.50.
Some guy sent me in a HT90 charger by mistake ( he says!) for the trade in deal.
People always trying to hustle stuff.
