Anyone have a service manual for the RLN4008 standard RIB box?

There are schematics of the unit in the model-specific section of Batlabs.

The most likely component to fail is the op-amp, from what I've found. Typically, this happens when a home-brew cable is wired wrong. I had this happen to myself -- I just desoldered the op-amp, soldered in a socket in it's place, then poped in a new op-amp. The socket makes repair a cinch if a homebrew cable project goes wrong again.

Thanks, Bob. I should have looked around the site a bit before I asked.

Jonathan, I actually found a bad switching transistor... Q1. But we have another bad RIB around, though, so I'll keep your suggestion in mind.
