My county issued patrol car has a syntor HHCH in it.
I want to be able to use the RADIO function on the whelen siren thats in the car. the siren instructions tell me not to use speaker wire inputs that have power on them (such as in a amplified speaker).
Will it be safe to hook up my syntor to this siren function so that i can hear my radio over the PA or should i just forget about it?
thanks..

You are going to want to use an isolation transformer between the syntor and the whelen to keep the amp in the syntor isolated from ground, otherwise you can blow the audio amp in the syntor. (I'm assuming the amp in the syntor is bipolar like the spectra.)
