Help programming ht750, using R06.07.04

Post by Electech »

Just got my radio software and ribless cable.

Hooked up and not reading any of my HT-750's. Getting com port not opening error. This is an older compact running win98 se2. It is a PII 733 mhz system.

Are the com port settings default or ?

Anything else I would have to do to read the radio?

If you're using a serial port, try the different Com ports offered in the software. Usually Com1 is the one for it, sometimes it's not.

Figured out what is wrong, I have the wrong cable.
I was sent the wrong cable, did not check it until now.

Really?

What kind of cable were you trying to use?

If it was anything resembling a Motorola and it fit it, idk what else it could possibly have been.
