You might try explaining what you mean by FCC codes.

I think he means fcc channel assignments. I remember that was the way you have to program some EFJ's in 800 Mhz many years ago.

It basically broken down like:
1: 450.0000/455.0000
2. 450.0025/455.0025
etc....as an example ONLY!

Try doing some google searchs under EFJ or EF Johnson and that might help.

I program LTR radios all the time. If you are asking about "LTR CODES" that has nothing to do with the FCC. The LTR code would be assigned by the system administrator. The codes can be from 1 to 250, you also need to know the home channel. What are you trying to program? Why don't you have the system owners do the programming?

If you are trying to get a radio onto a trunked system without the correct authorization I would not do it. I'm not saying that is what you are trying to do, but when someone is programming a radio onto a trunk system with the correct authorization they should have all of the info they need.

WOAH!! Down BOY!!

im not a NEWBIE. i was refering to FCC channel assignments but found my info.

PS you may consider supplying the assumptive parental advice you gave me to ppl who have less than say 20 posts, or to someone who is talking of wanting to bootleg off someones system. I dont bootleg, i am simply learning about the different features and capabilities of different brands of radios capable of LTR.
