Genesis Speaker-Microphones, Where to Find?

Post by Dkouz »

So I have been looking for replacement speaker-mics for a while now and have not come up with any. So I come here today for some help and direction. Is there a source for after-market speaker-mics for these radios? Is there some other option or am I stuck paying $100 for the real deal?

Any help is much appreciated.

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

you're always best with oem in my opinion. i don't know what you're using it for but if it's for public service and you have to trust your life to it it's not worth saving $20.

I never check PM's so don't bother, just email me.
I won't reply to a hotmail, gmail, aol or any other generic free address, if you want me to reply use a real address.

These are to be used in an industrial environment. Up until last year I had been able to find new ones on ebay for, at most, ~$35 and had been buying all I could find. The problem is that there are just not any more out there and we need some.
