Can anybody identify this cable? It came with a system 9000 DEK. Part # HKN6189A. It appears to be genuine Motorola part. Round end has nine pins and the other end looks like a Mic plug.

The interesting part is it came with a DEK, and it says it's for a DEK, but the only thing that uses the 6 pin port on a dek is the connector between the DEK and the control head... e.g. VIP port on control head goes to 6 pin connector on DEK, and DEK's VIP port is now active...
Is it possible it's a cable intended to interface a DEK with a non-Motorola or even a non-Systems 9000 style head?

Sorry,I forgot to say that I bought the DEK on ebay.
It came with all mounting hardware and proper cable and vip 2 plug to hook to my x9000 head.
If it's for a boom mike I may look into using it on a maratrac I plan to set up as a base for amateur use.

The circular connector plugs into the back of the newer XTL series control heads and onto the radio drawer itself. Usually the remote cable has a blue band with the same circular connector on each end. The power, speaker, ignition sense has a red band. There is a yellow connector but I do not know what its used for (DEK maybe?)
