Interesting International Tech Job?

Post by motorola63 »

Anyone ever deal with this company?

JPI Worldwide Inc seeks 2 WAY Radio Communications Technician for installation, training, and maintenance of 2 Way communications equipment in its international operations.

This applicant should be capable of supporting Codan, Motorola, and ICom 2 way mobile and base station equipment. Experience with antennas, vehicle mounts, portable rigs, handheld, power supplies, amplifiers, and cabling a must. VSAT and or computer experience a plus but not a requirement.

Overseas travel to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Pacific Rim is required. We have numerous positions to fill and are looking for “hands on” techs and trainers.

Please send resume and salary requirements to [email protected]

I'd bet if you took a job with this company that you'd have a very good chance of being skinned alive hanging upside down from some bridge or phone pole after encountering the locals who hate us infidels.

No money is worth it, besides I'd bet that you would never see the presidents or CEOs of this company stepping foot in any of those contries listed.

Basically they are looking for the techy equivalent of mercenarys.

Hey Everyone,

Do you think you've got Stress now on your Job? Wait till you get dropped into a Civil War Zone :o and try to accomplish your responsibilities under those conditions.

I wonder if this company provides personnel protection, bullet proof vests and hazardous duty pay over and above your pay scale?
