Quantar - MRTI Interface

Post by Vercomm »

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anybody knows what the part number is to order a MRTI interface for a VHF Quantar. I'm looking at buying a couple Quantars that are APCO25, but they don't have MRTI's, but for my application I need the MRTI's.

Any help would be much appreciated.

From the price book

The MRTI Interface option is cancelled. Alternative supplier investigation is in process.

From memory, I think they're recommending the Zetron Model 30.

Quantar stations have a backplane MRTI interface connector, however, that will only work for analog operations.

If you want to add a phone patch to a Quantar running mixed mode or APCO25 digital operation, you must interface the station to a DIU3000.

The DIU has a MRTI port which should support most types of phone patches.
