Does a Remote Head Kit exist for this Radio?

they do exist brian but they are very very expensive. They stopped making it but im sure you can find one somewhere but as i stated they are very very pricey.

Ill find you a link you can build yourself one from what i understand its not that hard just very time consuming.

i remember seeing them for $400 on the low end... and i'll bet if you find one on ebay it wont be a bargain.

Uniden is going to make a factory head for their newer radios, so for the cost of an older scanner (796) and a used aftermarket head, you can have a new 996 & remote head.

So there you have it!
I have a 780 that i have maybe used 10 times since it came out. I dont have a need for a mobile installation(no room either)luckily my PD uses a on secure system so i dont need any of the extra goodies...
