Can anyone recommend a good, reasonable priced, battery conditioner. It need to be capable of taking care of bothe motorola and GE / Ericsson / M/A-Com batteries for various models including:
Motorola
CP200
HT750
HT1000
MT1000
MT2000 (I think at least, still Jedi series)
GE / Ericsson / M/A-Com
KPC-300/400
MPA
This would be for maintaining my PD & FD radios. Any suggestions on a brand / model. Again, price is an issue.

I have an iTech IQfive and it works great! the adapter cups are a little expensive, to me anyway but the unit works well and I got it for $75.00 on ebay!

We have 1 AdvanceTec pulse analyzer/conditioner that we use to bring prematurely poor batteries back to life. Excellent charger but does not do Li-Ion batts. I believe their standard charge conditioner will do Li-Ion though but it doesn't have a digital display.

Try Cadex
Cadex Electronics makes a marvelous battery analyzer that can handle just about every current technology, including LiOn. You can often find their model 7000 on Greed-bay.
HOWEVER -- Be warned that adapter cups are anywhere from $100 to $200 each, depending on what it is.
Happy hunting.

When I was at the test equipment depot, we handled the battery maint. systems for service. As stated above, both Itech and Cadex make very good systems. However we would get several of the Itech systems per week for service vs one or two per YEAR for the Cadex systems. Pricewise and servicewise, Itech is the Chevy, Cadex is the Rolls Royce.

Go with Cadex, the two station C7200 is most affordable. Try here:

The Cadex will bring many "crap" NiCd batteries back to life using the Prime function which cycles batteries and tracks the capacity improvement. You can pay for the thing through battery savings! Good for cell phones and camcorder packs as well as radios.
On the other hand Impres is great if you want to start out with a new battery system.
P.S. You have many radio types to support but you don’t need to buy adapters for every one. Cadex have a gizmo called the claw which you can use for one-off jobs or batteries that need less frequent attention.
