I don't think so. The DGT9000 is a digital remote, meant to work with a Spectra radio. The remote acts as an extended control head for the Spectra. I've never seen one set-up with anything else, desktrac or otherwise.

DGT9000 Digital Remote

The DGT9000 can be set up with the Desktrac. Below I will list the steps to do so:

1. From idle state, not connected to the Radio, press "Local" and then "1,4,9,0"
2. Power down the unit.
3. Press and hold "Home" while powering up the unit.
4. Press "Mode ^" until you see "Spectra"
5. Press "*" to change to "Desktrac"
6. Press "#" and then "IC" to save this setting
7. Connect up to Desktrac base and you can be on your way.

Hope this helps.
