Odd Model Number

Can anyone help ID this model number from an HT1250 LS+

it doesnt make much sense to me.
someone said it was a 700 Mhz Model.. What do you use 700 mhz for???

It could be an MTX8250, with an HT1250 label. They are designed the same, however Motorola marketed them on the same design platform, but for different countries.

when running the FCC ID on it on the FCC id webpage it said the Freq range was something of that in the 700's yet some kind of ht1250. did motorola ever make such a beast?
or is this just a mistyped model number?

i checked on the MTX idea.. model number breakdown isnt anything close to like the MTX from what i could tell

The model number should follow in the same fashion as the Waris series, and be the same physical construction, just a different rf deck/board and the MTX model number.

I'm not aware of any Waris radios in 700MHz+ marketed under the HT1250x series, usually it's MTXx, but I could be mistaken.

i went into the MTX series decode chart on batlabs and was unable to decode it properly... thanks for your idea.

The MTX8250 is just an 800mhz Type II / IIi waris radio for the US market. There's also the MTS8250-LS for 800 LTR.

The HT-1250-LS+ Comes in VHF, 220, UHF and 700

Access Spectrum, Inc. has a 700mhz LTR Passport system utilizing HT-1250-LS+ Models.

is there anything that is commonly used in the 700 band or is this kinda a weird radio?
any fire services/pds use it? or anything like that??
