I have eight of the Motorola model T71VBJ7D04AK's trunk-mounted radios. Can anyone tell me if it is a MARATRAC, MAXAR, MAXTRAC, MICOR, MITREK, etc.?
I bought them at a state surplus property auction and they were use by the WV State Police. Four of them have the PAC Mobile Repeater units piggybacked onto the case which has the frequency 0f 154.9050-mhz, but as I understand it, the PAC mobile repeaters were used as a type of cross-band repeaters and were used with the Low-Band units.
Anyway, I don't know what model name these are and would appreciate any help from the discussion group.
Thanks

Thanks WB6NVH
I discovered where the Model name is on the Data label for the SYNTOR X. It was hidden by the old State Police Inventory tag. When I set about to remove the old tags I found it.
Now if I can just get some information on converting one of them to a 6-meter repeater and one to a 6-meter/2-meter cross band repeater...
Thanks,
