L1473 Local Remote

Post by Jonathan KC8RYW »

Anyone know if these do audio deemphasis or if they need flat audio? Would it be possible to use speaker audio from the radio?

Also, what do the solder blobs on the board do?

Thank you!

The manual doesn't mention anything about speaker audio. It does mention that Receive Audio Return (RX LO) must return to a virtual ground.

I have one of these on my repeater and it works great. I had to do a little extra configuration, but it does work great.

Solder blobs are jumpers Are there 13 or so of them? If so, they control different features like gain settings for audio/mic, handset operation and so on.
