MX1000

Hello to all,

i am new to the motorola scene and am looking for info on how to program a MX1000.

computer speed ,software required etc,etc.

You can use almost 'any' late model PC, but the best is the older PII @ 100 or 150 Mhz, with DOS 6.22.

RSS should be the latest you can obtain, like version R07.

THere are plenty of 'good' R.I.B(interface boxes) available either through members here, or Ebay, and they range from a cheap of $30.00 to over $200.00 depending on needs, and if you are versed in flashport programming.

Then you have the programming cable, which is nothing more than the Saber accy. port connector wired to specific internal pins inside.
