firmware date?

Just wondering, does the firmware version represent the day.month.year it was released? If not, how do you tell which version of the firmware is newer.

Nope, it's just a version number. Major.minor.build...

From older to newer:

01.00.00
01.00.01
01.01.00
01.01.01
02.00.00
Etc.

Does anyone know what the latest version of the CPS is? And what the latest version of the firmware is for the HT1250ls...

R05.11.05 - latest firmware
R06.05.03 - latest CPS

According to MOL, anyway.
