Cloning or Programing HT1000

Post by jprokop »

Can someone help a newbe find information about cloning or programing HT1000. My agency has 30 used Ht1000 [with 16 channels] that we would like to have cloned or programed to match our exsisting Ht1000s. I belive they are in the same freq range.

Can we do this in house easily [with a cable] or is this a ship out to a professional for big $$?

Any ideas would be a help.

If they're the same model # you can get a cloning cable to transfer the info. from a radio you have to the target radio. Take a look in the model specific info. pages on the main BatLabs site.

a cloning cable won't transfer all info so if you use mdc or a couple other options it won't clone that. where are you located? i'm shure there are some people on here that will help you out if you are close. if you're around indianapolis i'll do them for you.

VHF DN models cannot be cloned to AN, BN, or CN models.
Any DN model can be cloned from like CN or DN models.

Prior to cloning any AN or BN model into a like CN or DN model, a code plug fix must be performed on the AN or BN model. Failure to do so could seriously degrade the scan and battery-saver capabilities of the CN or DN model radio. For code plug-fix information, order Service Repair Notice,
SRN-1218.

Note: Cloning any AN model into a like CN or DN model will remove the TEST MODE capability
