MTX8000?

Post by Rayjk110 »

I'm getting 3 MTX8000, look just like a regular plain JEDI, but says MTX on the front. I'm wondering, I know they do Type 2 trunking, but do they do conventional? Or do I need to LAB an MTS personality into them to do conventional.

Thanks,

Ray.

All of the ones I've seen will do conventional. They would not take a freq above 866.0000, but that is now irrelevant.

Ok. I've been told that, in conventional, they will ONLY take 851-856. I need to do some RX ONLY stuff around 860.2625-860.3 Is this possible?

I've never seen one that wouldn't go to 866.0000.

By default they will go to 866MHz. If you need to go above that, the RSS is easily modified to do that following the instructions on Batlabs.
