New Jedi Speaker Mic PMMN4038

Post by NickH »

The dealership I work at just got a few of the new Jedi speaker mics in. We've had the new radius and pro series ones for a little while, and so far so good. But this Jedi one fits like crap on my XTS2500. The whole connecter looks "stressed" when its on the radio and the general fit sucks. It works fine as far as I can tell, but this looks like trouble in the making. Also, WTF is up with getting rid of the 3.5mm Jack on the connector?

Has anyone else had this problem?

A lot of that PMMN prefix stuff is intended for the offshore market but have seen a few exceptions.

The new PMMN Speaker Mics are Moto's new line with Windporting Technology, they've replaced the HMN9030's, and I would assume the Pro Series Mics too, I don't know if these Jedi/XTS ones will replace the exisitng RSM's
