Funny thing is Cowthief's old description of the sound is exactly what I've heard on military freqs.

It's like MDC on crack or maybe running at 2400 instead of 1200 then a regular DES rushing sound.

I don't exactly know what it is but it sure isn't anything any of my sabers can do.

does anybody Know anything about these units? this seller has about 6-7 listing for different fascinator items.

More than likely, those units do not have the Fascinator hybrid in them. You'll see Sabers up on eBay from time to time that have the CCI sticker... but no CCI inside. They've been (properly) demilled.

If they do have the Fascinator module... you don't want them.

They are useless without both keys, and a 2135 will not work with them. Each unit had a specific set of keys for them.

Neat dust collector for the shelf tho...
