MTS 2000 UHF question

Post by n0vzc »

Hello,

I just got a MTS2000 FlashPort radio and when I programmed it the radio reset and now all it shows on the display is SLFTST and the green LED flashes. Any suggestions oin why it would do this and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Mike

Low battery? Bad contacts?

Try using a fully charged battery before programming, low battery is known to create all kinds of weird problems.

Dumb, not-knowledgeable opinion....

Sounds like you are locked in a loop, and can't get far enough to generate a FAIL or FL/xx response.

Can you still read from the radio??

What radios do you own?: Centracom Gold Elite, XTS5K 4K

have you charged the battery and cleaned the contacts....

the battery is most likely your problem.

It is working now. All I did was remove the trunk system that was in there that did not exist and kept telling to rss to write to the radio when it finally did it worked.

Thanks everyone!!! :)
