MSF5000 Software Won't Load

I have a licensed copy and cannot get the software to load. My computer is an old 386 booting into DOS 6.22.

This is the first time I loaded MSF5000 from the original diskette.

When I execute the program, it will cause the computer to lock up. All that remains on the screen is the command prompt with the DOS path name I executed the program from. The computer has to be powered off to clear.

All my other Motorola DOS RSS run just fine.

I don't have the station connected to the computer and can't imagine this has any bearing since all other RSS will load in stand alone.

Have you tried first logging into the directory where the executable(s) are located by using the CD command, and then executing?

Yes I have tried running the program from a floppy and from the command prompt of the HD.

Without knowing more about your equipment and setup, my best guess would be that your RSS is corrupted.
